Still crazy (good) after all these years

I have a major shoot in two days and as I prepare my backup camera, I can't help at marvel at how well it fits in my hand, the heft from the combination of magnesium alloy parts and hard plastic just feels right. Sure, it only has a 10MP sensor but it sure feels nice. I shoot a few things around the room, check the files in the computer and as always, the images glow. Upsizing in Camera Raw and the files look like they were shot out of my 18MP 60D.
So I think I'll shoot with the 40D. I could use the PC socket (which my 60D lacks).

iPhone Diaries #414: "after midnight"

Kortright Road East, close to home. Sept 2nd.

iPhone Diaries #413: "Hamilton"

Williams Cafe parking lot, across from McMaster Medical Sciences Centre, in Hamilton, at dusk. (reflections off of the roof of a car). Sept 1.

iPhone Diaries #412: "Woody Allen is a genius!"

Scarlett and Penelope in the darkroom scene in Vicky Christina Barcelona, the third Woody Allen movie savoured after Match Point, and Cassandra's Dream. Three movies that couldn't be more different from, and more similar to, each other. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommended. (that's an excellent darkroom; I miss working in one!) Aug 31st.
