The Minolta 50F1.7 is a lens for the Minolta Maxxum system, manufactured in the thousands starting in 1985. It is a very small, compact lens, built to specifications typical of more expensive lenses. As a kit lens, it came almost as a "free" bonus with the purchase of a Minolta body. Below are some sample photos taken with this lens.
