Different set-ups for Hybrid Photography.

The definition of a Hybrid Shooter is one who captures stills OR video during a shooting session. The aim of this exercise is to shoot stills AND video simultaneously, from the same Point Of View (POV). It's impossible to do it well for both disciplines and since I am primarily a Stills shooter, Stills will be the main priority, with the video being a form of moving Stills. If, however, a scene presents itself as a must-shoot-in-video (singing, crying, praying) moment, the video becomes the priority.

As a Sony shooter, I have the luxury of using cameras that are highly evolved in the Stills and Video department, with pro-level features across the whole product spectrum. They're also light and compact, and almost all Sony cameras of the same vintage share the same colour science.

The set-up below is my current favourite, mainly because it allows me to use a wide (24mm) lens. Shooting 4K on full-frame allows for extreme cropping-in, with very little loss in resolution:

Sony A7C with a Tamron 24F2.8 and a RODE Mic, on top of a Sony A7III with a Canon 24-70 (via an MC-11 adaptor). Cages and otehr attachments by SmallRig.
Below are my other combo attempts:
The three set-ups above have a Sony ZV-1 (1" sensor) above a full-frame camera. Not ideal since the ZV-1 ends up with a 35mm equivalent by the time 4K and Active stabilization are both enabled. It is useable when both cameras are shooting video for 2 different POVs.
