A self-portrait: coming home from a funeral

On the way home to Canada after attending the funeral in the Philippines for my late father. After two weeks of long flights, high heat and humidity, and crowds of people, I am looking forward to seeing my wife and our kids. The full weight of the realization that one's father for over 50 years has passed away will come on later. For now, sleeping on my own bed is the goal.

  2. I extended my left hand, using a 17mm lens (26mm). The swivel screen on the 60D helps. It is the haggard look.
